Women's Ministry

The women at Christ the King Lutheran Church are blessed with a wealth of service opportunities through the Women of the ELCA (WELCA). This national ELCA organization offers spiritual and fellowship support along with excellent leadership and links to women in neighboring Lutheran congregations.

We currently have a variety of circles (or groups) that meet regularly for Bible Study, fellowship and service projects.

  • Ruth Circle - meets the third Monday evening of every month for Bible Study. Coordinator: Linda Forbes, 770-888-8139
  • Ruby Circle - meets the first Tuesday evening of each month.
    Their agenda rotates between fellowship,
    service projects and spiritual growth.

    Coordinator: Wendy Kraby, 770-887-2500
  • Lydia Circle - A prayer shawl ministry that meets every Tuesday at 1:00PM at church. If you don't know how to crochet or knit, we will teach you. On the fourth Tuesday of each month the circle begins at 12:00 noon with a Bible study.
    Coordinator: Edith Vetten at 770-886-0627
